September 10, 2025 – We are pleased to announce our acquisition of Colonnade at Kings Grant, a 21,265 square foot, 3-building Essential Service Retail (ESR) property in Charlotte, NC. The Property is a high-quality asset located along a highway intersection in an established retail node. In our first year of ownership, we plan to revitalize the center with a fresh coat of paint, LED lights in the parking lot and on the buildings, activation of patio seating, updated landscaping, seal and stripe of parking lot, a new roof on all buildings and a pylon sign enhancement.
The Property is currently 100% occupied by several national, experienced operators such as Jimmy John’s, Sweet Frog and Original Mattress. This investment aligns with our strategy to target unanchored, high-quality Essential Service Retail centers in strong demographic submarkets. Colonnade at Kings Grant is CenterSquare’s 22nd ESR acquisition in the Southeast and 60th nationally.
