September 18, 2025 – We are pleased to announce our acquisition of Northlite Commons, a 22,901 square foot, Essential Service Retail (ESR) Property in Charlotte, NC. The Property is located in an established retail node. During our first year of ownership, we plan to implement a comprehensive capital improvement program, including exterior repainting, installation of energy-efficient LED lighting in the parking lot and on the buildings, upgraded landscaping, sealcoating and restriping of the parking lot, replacement of the roof, and enhancements to the pylon sign.
The Property is currently 93% occupied by several national, experienced operators such as Verizon Wireless and Lendmark Financial. This investment aligns with our strategy to target unanchored, high-quality Essential Service Retail centers in strong retail nodes. Northlite Commons is CenterSquare’s 23rd ESR acquisition in the Southeast and 61st nationally.
