Joseph Gyourko
Professor of Real Estate and Finance, The Wharton School
Mr. Gyourko is the Martin Bucksbaum Professor of Real Estate, Finance and Business & Public Policy at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has served as a Director of the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center at Wharton for the past quarter century and is currently a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Mr. Gyourko is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and was co-director of the special NBER project on housing markets and the financial crisis. Mr. Gyourko is an Advisory Board Member at CenterSquare Investment Management.

Werner Sohier
Senior Global Real Estate Executive
Mr. Sohier is a distinguished leader with over 42 years’ experience spanning development, consulting, and investment. Most recently, he served as a Senior Director at PGGM, instrumental in managing global listed and private real estate for the $270B Dutch asset management firm. Mr. Sohier has a doctorandus degree in economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a master’s from Georgia State University in Atlanta, and a postgraduate degree in real estate investment (MRE) from the University of Amsterdam. He also holds an Executive Education certification from Harvard Business School in Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Michael Boxer
Managing Director, CenterSquare Investment Management
Mr. Boxer has more than 31 years of real estate financing experience. He leads CenterSquare’s U.S. debt investment platform and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Mr. Boxer began his career as a real estate attorney with Shea & Gould, where he represented owners and lenders in the structuring and consummation of real estate development, leasing and financing transactions. Mr. Boxer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. Mr. Boxer also serves on the Investment Committees of the firm’s real estate investment programmes.
