In Mr. Ferro's role as General Counsel of CenterSquare, he oversees, in conjunction with outside counsel, the legal aspects of all acquisition, joint venture, disposition, development, leasing, management, financing and other real estate activities of the Company and its affiliates. Mr. Ferro also acts as outside counsel (through Ferro & Associates, LLC) on real estate and joint venture transactional matters for CenterSquare and its affiliated entities. Mr. Ferro brings more than 40 years of commercial real estate experience to his role. Prior to joining CenterSquare in 2004, Mr. Ferro was General Counsel and Executive Vice President of The Rubenstein Company, L.P., where he served in those roles from 1992-2004. Previously, Mr. Ferro was a partner in the Philadelphia office of the international law firm, Dechert, LLP, and served as Chair of the firm's real estate practice group. His work and experience focused principally on a broad range of real estate matters, with an emphasis on real estate acquisition and finance, land development, leasing and lease administration, construction and design, and the structuring of partnerships, limited liability companies and other forms of joint ventures for real property ownership and development. Mr. Ferro graduated from LaSalle University, magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in Political Science. He received his J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law, cum laude, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Villanova Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
